This website is to provide information about one of the least known and surprising estate cars ever built. Surprising—well how does an estate car than can be easily tuned to produce up to over 300 bhp  with complete reliability sound. A close relative  of the Nissan Skyline  the  Stagea can provide astonishing performance from a car as big as a Volvo V70.  .

The twin turbo versions ,as fitted to the Slyline GTR is even easier to tune — 400+ bhp  is normal and  the car remains perfectly driveable

Stageas are available in 2 and 4 wd  with engines from a stock 2 litre to the RS260 Autech version which had the twin turbo RB26 engine.

There was also rumored to be a very rare tuned  nismo version  that did 0 –60 mph in 5.1 seconds and over 150 mph as standard .This would make it one of the fastest production estate cars ever built . Not bad for a ten year old car

Most cars in the UK are the RS FOUR model This has permanent 4wd and the single turbo RB 25 DET engine as fitted to skyline GTS . Initially all Stageas were produced as automatics but even so the car had exceptional performance and roadholding for an estate car. A V spec model is also available with a more luxurious interior.

One of the modifications done in Japan is changing the front to look like a Skyline R34 GTR. It is also possible to fit the RB26 twin turbo engine and manual gearbox from the Syline GTR. Uprating  the standard RB25DET engine in the RS Four is also easy as many of the huge range of aftermarket available for Skylines will fit without the need for any modifications

There is also a Stagea owners club in the Uk and  a forum where you can discuss any Stagea issue with other owners .We are also trying to find out how many Stageas are in the UK  so if you do have a Stagea  please and want to join the club  please click the owners club link .

A direct ink will soon be included to the
